FisherGuy uses AI to recommend nearby spots based on species, season, and conditions. Log your catches. Check the solunar forecast. All in one iOS app.
iOS 17+ · Free during beta · No tracking
Six tools we built because we were tired of juggling four apps every trip.
Type what you want: «perch in Helsinki», «zander near Tampere». Pins land on the map with bait, depth, and the time-of-year notes you'd normally ask a local for.
Show all fishing spots within radius of your current location, ranked by recent catch reports from the community.
Log every catch with photo, species, weight, bait, and weather. Syncs across devices and survives reinstall.
Wind, temperature, and the solunar (sun + moon) bite windows for the next 24 hours, per spot. So you know whether tomorrow morning is worth getting up for.
See who's catching what nearby. Follow your fishing buddies, share spots if you want, keep the honey holes to yourself if you don't.
Full localization including Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, German, French, Japanese, Arabic, Russian and more.
Type or say what you want to catch and where. FisherGuy understands species, location, and conditions.
Tap any pin for spot details: best bait, depth, recent catches, weather window, and walk-in directions.
Snap a photo, pick the species, add weight and bait. Your logbook builds itself trip by trip.
All captured live on iPhone 17 Pro Max. Helsinki bay, real spots, real solunar forecast.
The full UI, not just labels — error messages, share copy, and the catch logbook prompts too.
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or newer. iPhone 8 / SE 2 (2020) and later. iPad Air 3 and later, iPad mini 5 and later, all iPad Pro models from 2018 onward.
Yes during beta. There's a generous free tier of 20 AI queries per day. A subscription with unlimited queries and offline maps will arrive after launch.
Launch focus is Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Estonia. AI recommendations work globally but the spot database is densest in the Nordics. We're expanding to Germany, UK, and Poland next.
The AI suggests likely productive areas based on species behaviour, water type, and seasonality — it's a starting point, not a guarantee. Combined with the community catch feed, accuracy improves over time as more anglers log their results.
Yes — FisherGuy does not replace local fishing-license requirements. We show license-required-zone warnings where the data is available, but it's your responsibility to comply with national and regional regulations.
FisherGuy is GDPR-compliant. Catch data is yours, never sold. Anonymous analytics are self-hosted on our own infrastructure (no Google or Meta SDKs). Read the full privacy policy.
Both. Every catch is private by default. You choose what to share publicly, with friends only, or never. Your honey holes stay yours.
